RAGNAROK (2014):

'The talented Hal Chambers'  The Guardian 

Hal is an award-winning theatre director based in South London.

He is represented by Sally Hope Associates. 

He trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School & National Theatre Studio.

 

Hal was the Artistic Director of critically-acclaimed puppetry company, Tucked In, for over ten years. They extensively toured the UK and received critical acclaim for their original stories for young people. 

He writes Children's Books (with writing partner Robin Hemmings) and is represented by David Higham Associates.

 

Hal proudly sits on the board of Combination Dance

He will spend 2020 working with the RSC.

DRAMA SCHOOLS: Hal regularly directs for the RADA, Oxford School of Drama, ALRA, Birmingham School of Acting, LAMDA, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. 

 

EDUCATION: Hal has extensive education experience, having worked as a resident director at Eton College. He has also facilitated workshops with Theatre Royal Bath, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School Active8, Equity and Mountview's Young Company. He regularly leads projects for Shakespeare’s Globe Education team. He directs workshop productions that perform on both the Globe and Sam Wanamaker Playhouse stages.
